We are a community newspaper launched in June 2001. We realised that the community spirit, local concerns, energy and talent in Bondi needed to be promoted and that a community newspaper would allow this to happen.
Historically, Bondi has had newspapers since around 1928. Many of them were absorbed into other publications, which in turn were absorbed into conglomerates. THE BONDI VIEW is an independent newspaper.
It is currently published every two months with a distribution of 20,000 copies, hand delivered to Bondi Beach letterboxes. THE BONDI VIEW provides a voice for locals, Waverley Council and businesses.
We have adopted the slogan, "Its a good read!" because thats the feedback received from our readers.
We are a team who loves being in Bondi. We are totally biased and say that Bondi Beach is the best beach in the world and has the best views. |

The Bondi View |
| Posted by from Bondi on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 |
| What is the point in having an informative local publication like The Bondi View when it is delivered too late. I got my February edition today (Feb 14th). Too late to note imprtant events such as Climate Day at Bondi Beach. Poor show. |
